When a company splits its shares the price per share changes, and many apps keep showing the old price. This board works out which number is really in force, and rechecks it in your browser as the page loads.

Live re-check asks for your own RPC address, because public endpoints refuse browser requests; it is kept in this browser and sent nowhere else. …. Live re-check: your own RPC

Public Solana RPCs reject browser requests (CORS/origin allowlists), so a live re-check needs an RPC that allows your origin - e.g. your own Helius/QuickNode endpoint. The URL stays in your browser (localStorage) and is used only for getMultipleAccounts calls to this board.
